Your third eye revealed and how to take care of it…

Research shows that the Third Eye Yogis and the Veda’s are referring to is in fact our pineal gland. The pineal gland is a gland in the middle of our brain the size of a pea (although, apparently in ancipineal-glandent times, it was the size of a lemon).

The pineal gland is one of the most important ones as:
# it regulates our hormonal balance,
# it produces the hormone melatonin, which
@ is important for our sleep patterns
@ reduces stress,
@ regulates our energy levels
@improves physical performance
And has been identified as the Eye of Isis and the Third Eye. Ancient cultures believed that this is the seat of our soul, the place where we raise to a higher consciousness.

However, in a lot of people the pineal gland is calcified, due to a poor diet, drinking caffeine, alcohol and by heavy metals in our environment.
Some symptoms of a calcified pineal gland are:
# confusion
# stress and anxiety
# depression
# pessimism
# envy and jealousy
# early puberty in children

We can make our pineal gland healthy again by:
# eating unprocessed food, eliminate or reduce the amount of caffeine and alcohol consumed.
# meditation
# taking essential oils: frankincense, clary sage, myrrh and sandalwood. Studies show that when inhaling any of these essential oils might bring your pineal gland into action.

Until 15 January you can get a free bottle of Frankincense essential oil. Apart from taking care of your pineal gland, Frankincense has many more benefits.

Get the real essence of life

I am doing a lot of research for my workshops next year… Getting all the knowledge I acquired these past years and I am amazed by what I have learned already. I am watching videos on Chinese traditional medicine, but do you know that we had (have) Western traditional medicine? I studied it in Belgium years ago: the 4 temperaments by Galen, Hippocrates and further established by Avicenna.
I like Avicenna and have his book ‘the Canon of Medicine’. A must-read for everyone who wants a natural solution.

Essential oils are a must-have with that: they balance our temperaments, our bodies. They have the life energy of the plant in them. This is what we need to nourish our body, not some synthetic supplement or drug.

Let 2017 be a year to balance your temperaments and to nourish your body and mind with the real essence of life!

21 principles

I am working on a whole new set of workshops on Tai Chi and Personal development. It is going to be amazing! I am so thrilled, so excited to teach the world (Yes, I am dreaming big ;)) about the benefits of Tai Chi and how to grow and find our life purpose.

I will guide people through this process using, first, the Tai Chi meditation, then 2 Tai Chi basic movements and then an 18 form, using the main movements out of a traditional form. Each movement will be accompanied by a personal development chapter.

The first principle is the Zhan Zhuang or Tai Chi meditation. It means literally ‘standing like a post’ and is just a standing posture where you control your breathing.

Wang Xiangzhai, one of the first Chinese masters who recommended this posture as daily practice says this:

“In silence there must be movement, and in motion,
there must be silence.
A small movement is better than a big,
no movement is better than a small
silence is all the movement’s mother.
In Movement you should be like a dragon or a tiger.
In non Movement you should be like a Buddha.”
–Wang Xiangzhai

He talks about the 4 paradoxes of it:

  • Standing still is good exercise
  • Holding your arms up is relaxing
  • Time flies when you are doing nothing
  • Static posture training promotes fluid and coordinated movement.

And it is so true! I can tell you by my own experience that it sounds unbelievable. At first I didn’t want to do it, I wanted to just practice and learn movements. I found standing still was a waste of time. But, after months and some pressure from my Tai Chi teacher, I did it and I felt totally different.

These principles that are so hard to believe with our Western mind, I can teach you step by step and believe me… It will change your life!IMG_2316

It’s my birthday!

23 December is my birthday. It always makes me happy, because it is the perfect time of the year! It is almost Christmas, so I feel my birthday is special because of all the lights in the city, the decorations, everyone is happy,…

Even though, sometimes, as a child, I didn’t like it, because everyone was busy with Christmas and most of the time I got 1 big present: my birthday, Christmas and Newyear combined. But, now, I find it a special time.balance-grounding-essential-oil-blend-doterra

This time of the year it is a time to celebrate and to be happy. If you feel too overwhelmed or you feel a bit down for some reason, there is an essential oil blend that helps you get through the difficult moments.
I use this blend in my Tai Chi classes to help people during meditation. It stops the monkey in your brain to jump around and be quiet for a while.

I wish everyone a merry Christmas! Enjoy the holidays with your loved ones.

My Coaching journey begins

I have done a lot about personal development and looking for life purpose. I went to many seminars and trainings and now I feel it is the time to step up.

You know, every new beginnings are scary. So, I went to more seminars, more trainings and always told myself that I was not ready. I didn’t have the right knowledge yet or at least not enough, I was still at the beginning of my own journey, I thought.
But, these last months I thought a lot about the road I have already traveled and I am amazed by how far I have got already. These last few weeks, a few of my friends and acquaintances told me that I am an inspiration for them, because they saw me grow and go towards my real life purpose. They asked me to teach them my insights and my tips.

So, that is when I realize that I will never be fully ready until I take the step to finally call myself a coach. I have been thinking on how to call myself as I will combine my three skills: Tai Chi, Personal Development and Essential Oils. I don’t want to call myself life coach as I find it too narrow for what I do.
What do you think of the following?
* Life Purpose coach
* Holistic health leader
* Self awareness Instructor

Let me know your favorite? And I will give you a coaching session for only 20 EUR/ 20 USD now. We can do it through Skype!

I am looking forward to 2017!!! It is going to be a year full of workshops, seminars, online trainings, write an e-book,… I am looking forward to it as I am finally taking action towards my Life Purpose!

Which essential oils to choose from? How to be sure they are safe?

Right now, more and more companies are bringing their own essential oils on the market. How to differentiate which companies’ oils are good and which ones are to be careful about.

First of all, I want to tell what essential oils are. They are extracted from certain plant parts, like the seeds, the rind, the stem, the leaves, flowers and bark. They are steam distilled or cold pressed extraction. Essential oils have powerful, safe benefits without side effects, when used pure. They are very clean to the touch and are immediately absorbed by the skin.

Essential oils are 50X-70X stronger than herbs. They work with the body to address issues and root causes on a cellular level. Hundreds of different compounds provide complex & versatile ability to combat threats without building up resistance.
They are anti-bacterial and anti-viral, some are anti-parasitic and anti-inflammatory.

Essential oils penetrate in our cells and remove all toxins, viruses,… frocellm our cells and renew them.

So, you need to be sure that your oils are pure! Because they can harm you. Doterra essential oils are the only ones in the world that has CPTG grade: Certified Pure Therapeutic grade. Which means:

  • Plants are harvested in their natural habitat ;Stringent third party testing of every batch ensures the powerful benefits without harmful side-effects;
  • Beyond organic, verified pure, free of fillers, pesticides, & foreign contaminants
  • They are Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade which assures that : Each batch undergoes Gas Chromatograph and Mass Spectrometry tests to assure purity and strength.

I use Doterra essential oils every day for more than a year now and can testify that they are pure and good for your body and mind! I have had so many positive effects with them. They have helped my life a lot. These are also the only essential oils that you can drink.
But you still need to be careful, because they are very powerful and pure, you can’t take too much from it. Always consult with a Wellness Advocate on how to use them properly.

If you have any questions about them, send me an email on:

I wish everyone can experience the benefits I got from them. They sure changed my life. I am not taking any medicine anymore and the rest of my family is slowly getting medicine free!

Ask the right questions and you will receive!

Questions are a valuable tool. By asking yourself questions, you can change your focus and the direction of your life. The proper question can open you up to new possibilities and ideas. Take the time to examine your life and ensure you’re on the best possible path.

Ask yourself these questions on a regular basis:

1. Have I seen enough to have an accurate view of the world?
It’s surprising how many people have never crossed their country’s borders. Every country is unique and has its own culture. e.g. Europe is very different from China.

You’re missing out on a lot if you don’t explore other places and cultures. What are the odds that you were born in the precise place that fits you the best?

2. Will my finances be able to support my retirement?
It’s important to start asking this question immediately. Focusing on the short-term at the expense of the long-term is a common error. You only have so many tomorrows to prepare for the latter parts of your life.

3. Where will I end up in five years if I live this day repeatedly?
You might not have a time machine at your disposal, but you can probably predict the future better than you think. Our daily activities determine our future. Ask yourself these questions and project your answers over the next five years.
What’s the logical outcome?
What did I eat today?
What did I do to earn money today?
What social activities did I engage in today?
How much exercise did I get today?

4. If today were my last day to live, what would I do?
You probably wouldn’t spend your day in front of the TV or spend your time worrying about silly things. Whatever answer you receive is a good indication of how you should be spending more of your time each day.

5. Am I pleased with my career choice or would I rather do something else?
Having multiple careers is much more common than it used to be. If you’re in a career you don’t enjoy, you have other options. Spending 40 years in a career that doesn’t excite you is a hard way to go through life.

6. What are my goals?
If you don’t have any goals, how do you know where you’ll end up? Without goals, we’re relegated to choosing the best options that randomly pass through our lives. It’s much more effective to decide what you want and make it happen. Leave luck out of the equation.

7. Which parts of my life are making me unhappy?
Becoming happier isn’t just about adding all the right components. It’s also about getting rid of the stuff that makes you miserable. The low-rated parts of your life make you unhappy. It’s not the fact that you don’t have a Ferrari in your driveway. Take out the trash before adding to your life.

8. Am I living my life in a way that supports my health?
Young bodies can take a surprising amount of wear and tear without showing any signs of abuse. That doesn’t last. Taking care of yourself today improves the odds of enjoying good health down the road. Eat and sleep well. See your doctor on a regular basis.

9. Am I enjoying my life as much as I could?
Are you too busy with work to notice all the good things in your life? Are you too worried to enjoy time spent with your children? You can experience many simple enjoyments every day.
